Happy Employees….Innovative Workplace! Its True!

We have heard numerous times that innovation and creativity lead to increased productivity. But did you know that Happy workers can be more than 13% more productive than unhappy ones?

In collaborative research done by Saïd Business School of Oxford University and British multinational telecoms firm BT, it was found that there is a significant correlation between happiness and productivity.

‘We found that when workers are happier, they work faster by making more calls per hour worked and, importantly, convert more calls to sales,’ said Professor De Neve. The study also concluded the fact that productive employees were not working extra hours but simply happy within their work time and, hence, being productive. Happy employees are more likely to miss less work, give a quality performance, and support company innovation.

So how can you make employees happy?

Though it is extremely difficult to find out what exactly an employee wants as people can have a vast variety of needs. Here are a few good practices an organization can adopt to ensure the happiness of their employees

  • Emphasize work-life balance- It was found that indifference in their working and personal hours created stress and dissatisfaction among employees. Even the happiest countries in the world are the Nordic countries where work-life balance is prioritized.
  • Flexible work schedules- The rapid increase in freelancers after COVID has proved that people are now more flexible towards their work and want more agility in scheduling their pace.
  • Create transparent culture- An organization with corruption and duel gameplay can make employees question their self-worth. This can even create doubts among employees about the goals and timeline of the company.
  • Have open ears- Always listen to what your employees have to say. Sometimes employees can give insights on the outdated management and techniques which the senior team might have never come across.
  • Don’t get stuck with scores- A team’s higher official can win or bust a project. Employees start to resent the head and eventually the work if they’re always nagged upon and shown on their achievements and mishaps.

Why is employee engagement necessary?

According to Gallup, only 29% of workers strongly agree that they’re expected to think out of the box to do things at work. But they’ve also found that “by promoting creativity, they engage workers, and engaged workers are more creative.”

The impact of idea generation due to creativity and innovation can lead to not only productive outcomes but increased we-being also. Here are some key benefits recorded in various research done on a similar field.

After The Great Resignation trend became popular since the arrival of COVID, traditional workplace culture is being challenged. The organizations that still practice the un-updated culture risk their employees as to those which adapt to the future. According to Korn Ferry’s 2017 Talent Forecast survey, one major reason why great candidates chose a company was because of the culture.

Mutual Understanding is Mutual Growth

And when I live in a selfish way…..sun says loud and clear…please do not.

Trees are giving living oxygen…… despite we cut them and torture them!

And when I hoard and do not share….tree winks and tells…please do not.

River is flowing and nourishing everyone…human, bird or thirsty animal!

And when I do not love fellow beings…water softly whispers….please do not.

Universe is telling me so wisely…you are here for a Purpose and to be YOU!

And When I listen not…..Universe humbly tells me Please do not Pass Through.

Compassion Calms Corona Fear

As we celebrate Full Moon Day today dedicated to Buddha ; three virtues come to mind –

  1. Compassion
  2. Peace
  3. Non Attachment

And Let me start with Non Attachment. Having no attachment with desire, people, situations and past or future…leads to erosion of suffering. It never means we can not care and love people…but its done by being Seeer NOT doer. This also leads to us having no expectation from others but only acceptance of universe as it is.

With Non Attachment as virtue, we understand beauty is within . As we go within, connection with inner spirit establishes and peace is natural outcome. Meditation helps a lot in achieving this state. When Peace embraces us we get strong with sense of serving others. Serving makes us Deserving by Universe for we become Giver not Taker.

Compassion develops as an extension of non attachment and peace within. When we have no ego, we receive Greatness. At this state we are seeing other beings and non beings as one and same. We are in Unison with Uni-verse. We feel when some one suffers and we act whenever we can to reduce suffering of others. And this power to feel and contribute comes from our own non attachment as first virtue.

May Buddha be awaken within all of us…for world is in absolute need of compassion and peace.

Fear of Corona and Winning Wisdom

Winning With Wisdom During Corona Centered Fearful Times 

Human is more powerful than any other being …can we Let Go this now. Can WE?

AND if we are not accepting this Myth…of we being powerful…Fear will never leave us.

Fear is due to our EGO and our Attachments.

Attachment to Our Identity….Attachment to Our Money…Attachment to our Relationships and Attachment to our Schedules.

So we all are fearful because our power is lost…our identity is in danger.  And despite all this…still we have EGO left. EGO simply Edges Good Out.

Way out is to face fear by Living Today with Love and Compassion and Care.

Life of no one is certain in these times…but now at this moment..I am writing and you are reading. So we both are having Life. AND this is enough reason for expressing Gratitude.

One of the biggest change we can bring is by living in NOW and not living in past ( its not there now!) and not being concerned with future ( no one knows…no one).

Our Power of Love is not lost..Our Schedule to Go Within is not lost…Our Identity of Compassion is not lost…Our Wealth of Wisdom is not lost.

And when we bring this change …we move from Space of Fear to Ocean of Feeling and Freedom.

Transform Tension to Relaxation

Relax in Tough Times – Choice is with all of us.

Never in our life probably we have seen this kind of Global Crisis…Leading to all countries closed for each other and cities closed for each other …Physically.

OPPORTUNITY this is for Transforming as well. Universe is in a process of Transformation, by way of telling its habitat to be mindful of each other.

Each of us has a choice to have our nervous system be stressed with tension which is prevailing OR choose to consider this as one of the Universe process where we are just observer at one level and can heal others at another level.

Being in acceptance of what is…is first step towards transforming our mental state from Tension to Relaxation.

How do we relax in so much uncertainty and challenges and chaos and problems…It is difficult..I agree for all of us. At another level this is the time to show our resilience and inner strength by way of becoming force which is relaxed hence can help others.

Being in Love with Universe and its processes…this change is also a process. If we do not resist, we will embrace this moment…AND when we embrace this moment…we get strength to help others.

UNIVERSE needs many of its being to be a source of strength and be partner in its Journey of Renewal..which is now happening. While we take all precautions and help others …we do biggest service by having peace within and ACCEPTANCE of WHAT IS.

I wish all a great health and safe relaxed being for all.

Earth is A School and Life is a Student

Life on Earth is for Learning and Contributing

3.30 AM…I am awake again. Meditating. 

QUESTION appears Why on Earth? for What? And why NOW? 

INDEED this question came about 32 years back as well.. when I was in high school. And 32 years is a very short period for earth …though a significant one for me or any human.

AS I introspect, I see…learning for me are many in this period… Joy of Being Aware, Joy of having a Purpose…Sadness of not able to give 100 percent to many causes and people. Overwhelming thoughts of despair sometimes and being in Gratitude at other times.

BIRTH in a small town in center of India known as Gwalior…And than moving to Bangalore for first Job..and Now working on mission to make 10 Million people happy in coming 9 years…Journey is fascinating and challenging.

I stated seeing each day as New Learning Chapter on this Earth School and Excitement is enormous each day for next day is waited with curiosity. Teacher is different each day and classes are at different places. One day teacher is my colleague and other day is my daughter…one day teacher is my wife and other day is old friend who is now no more!

PLACES are also teacher sometimes as each has its own history and present. Books are teaching me what other have learnt in this school.

AND When we see our life as student on Planet earth…Learning never stops and Death is just last lesson prior to Graduation.

Cherishing each moment and being happy NOW is key to Learn and graduate…Our Consciousness as Parents is Watching our Experience and Learning each day…Love is Language in which our parents speak to their beautiful children..me and you.

Universe is YOU…Surrender to Universe

UNIVERSE

I surrender to Universe for every aspect of my life …no matter what it is. Be it Money, Relationship, Career, Friends or ME as a being.

Being a Transmitter from Universe as all of us are, when we qualify our prayers…we do business with God not Prayer. Surrendering fully is Praying for What is Good for all. No Judgement from our intellect or instinct but solely with intuitive connect with Universe.

WITHIN when we close eyes ; We have WORLD of WISDOM…not necessarily when we have Eyes Opened.

Among 7.6 Billion people in this world and many more in other planets …We are in control of nothing but connect to higher forces. As and When we see ourselves as part of bigger plan of Universe…our Plan is no plan…SURRENDER.

 

Having Knowledge is not Knowing

Knowledge is EGO of Mind…Knowing is KEY!

Knowing is Feeling and it is Emotional Connect with Thing, Person and Situation we are connected.

Many a Times I wonder after discussion and debate…as to what is missing STILL. With deep reflection, I understood it was my EGO of knowledge which stopped me from Knowing person and having feelings to feel subconscious of person engaged with me.

hEARt is all about EAR i.e. Listening to know and understand not to respond.

Being in Sales myself for many years prior to transitioning as Business Coach and Facilitator, biggest breakthrough was my intention to listen what is not said…AND feel what is unsaid ignoring my knowledge and EGO of having knowledge.

NOW I KNOW despite not having knowledge and its a Bliss to be in state of flow to know and hEAR unsaid.

Be The World without Words! Be The Bliss without Bias and Be YOU when Universe is Within.
